The BMX star and host of MTV's The Challenge crashed his bike during an event in Las Vegas last night and was rushed to the hospital. He is experiencing brain swelling and has been placed in a medically induced coma. Lavin's vehicle hit a dirt ramp and lost control during the accident, as crew workers rushed to the star's side. He is listed in critical condition.
Some of you know T.J. Lavin as MTV host of The Challenges reality TV show and some of you know him as a BMX star. Today however T.J. is being known as the man in a medically induced coma.
According to TMZ during the Dew Tour event last night in Las Vegas Lavin hit a dirt ramp causing him to lose control of his bike and slam into the ground. TMZ further reports that T.J. is experiencing some swelling in his brain and at this time he is listed in critical condition.
